College Literacy and Learning (CLL) Special Interest Group (SIG)
of the International Literacy Association (ILA) will meet right before TASS
Attend two conferences in one trip! Consider participating in the meeting of the College Literacy and Learning (CLL) Special Interest Group (SIG) of the International Literacy Association (ILA) which will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on Sunday, March 19th, 2017 in Himmarshee Ballroom (8th floor of the Riverside Hotel). Because the CLL-SIG is meeting in conjunction with TASS, you have the opportunity to attend and propose for two conferences. More about the CLL-SIG and the Journal of College Literacy and Learning can be found at http://www.j-cll.org.
The final proposal review deadline is December 15, 2016. To learn more about CLL SIG, membership, the proposal submission process, professional development opportunities including the annual professional development grant to assist with travel expenses, go to j-cll.org.
There will be 20-25 presentations on issues and topics of post-secondary literacy and learning. It is the second year that the CLL group meets right before the TASS conference, so please take advantage of this professional development opportunity. The CLL SIG conference registration is free this year.
Annual membership to the CLL-SIG is $15. Because we are part of a larger group, the International Literacy Association, you also need to be a member of the International Literacy Association (see https://marketplace.reading.org/Memberships/IRA_NewMember.aspx ) The CLL-SIG can be found in the list of SIGs of the ILA http://www.literacyworldwide.org/get-involved/ila-network/special-interest-groups .
Please direct additional questions about the CLL-SIG to Dr. Deborah Kellner at email@example.com.
